08.23.2001 Entry: "stupid papers"

Man I have to write a stupid paper for my class today. I’m starting to wish I were living at home still. I used to always talk my mom or someone else into writing my papers back in school. Normally I would just tell my mom what to write and she would type it up for me. Back in high school I typed like five words per minute, so it saved me a bunch of time having someone else type it. I took this class thinking there would be no homework or stupid papers, and it would be hands on. I have to write three papers for this class, a one page, three page, and a ten page =( If I wanted to write papers I would have taken an essay class. What does this teacher think this class is a real college class or something?

I’ve always hated reading and writing back in school and I still do. It’s like what is the point of reading when everything you need to know is on TV. My mom is one of those people that like to sit a read a whole book on her day off. All I can say is boring!!! I rather just sit in front of the TV and watch cartoons all day. If I couldn’t watch cartoons then I would be watching one of these channels: Home and Garden, Cooking, History, or a 20/20 type of show. Stone Phillips is the coolest, I think I want to be like him when I get older. Just so you know I don’t have a crush on Barbara Walters anymore, I moved on.

..when you're older?! When are you waiting for? You're an adult yo, quit living in the future and make what you want to happen happen now, because you're not getting any younger =P

Just curious Brian. Is it more difficult to write a stupid paper as opposed to a smart paper? Mel
