Sexual attraction is something that has always fascinated me, yet has confused me. Naturally I find girls with larger curves more sexually appealing to me. But at the same time I find young girls with no body fat or curves attractive too. I used to say the perfect little dream girl has the body of a 12-year-old boy. If you look a fashion model there really isn’t a difference between the two. For thousands of years being full figured was considered a sign of fertility and being healthy for a woman. My question is, who decided that a 120 pound 5’8” girl with no body fat was the perfect girl. Most people probably don’t know the answer to this but I believe I do.
When I was younger I remember always liking girls, especially older women with big breasts. I can remember back in the second grade with three of my friends measuring our… well you know… to see who was the biggest, while looking at dirty magazines. The magazines came from my friend’s house, where his uncle had a room full; there were probably over 10 thousand magazines in there. The majority of them were from the sixties and seventies. If you have ever seen the playmates from back then you would probably agree with me that they were the perfect women, their body’s resembled that of a today’s glamour models, shorter and full of fatty curves. Their bodies are nothing like what the average so called perfect woman looks like now days. What happened?
I’m not sure if my theory is correct, but I think it’s worth mentioning. I have always had a hard time understanding why I like two body types that are so very different. As I was younger (6 – 14 years old) I very much liked heavier set women. On my wall in my bedroom I had many posters of Marilyn Monroe and even the guess model Anna Nichole Smith (back when she was perfect.) It wasn’t till I became sexually active when I was fourteen that I decided anything over 110 pounds was fat. It probably didn’t help having a girlfriend that was anorexic. I believe this new attraction I had to skinner girls was due to homosexual attraction to woman that had a body shape that resembled a young boys body.
The 60’s was the start of the, “hey its beautiful to be skinny.” Why? I believe this is due to homosexuality in the fashion business. Think about it most fashion designers and photographers are gay. What are gay men attracted to? Not curvy little girls! Most gay men don’t like fat, thin chiseled bodies are what they prefer, a young boy’s body. I’ve been to many gay clubs and have several gay friends; I know what the average gay man likes. I see nothing wrong with homosexuality, but the homosexual influence over the years in the fashion industry is wrong. These people want their woman to look like young boys. I realize now why I have always found unhealthy skinny women attractive and that is due to a homosexual attraction. Men that want women to look this way are really just insecure and are denying a homosexual attraction.
Most straight men would disagree with me on this and that is due to total denial. Men are animals and have a hard time with things like this. Think about how men like sports, football, wrestling, soccer and other sports were physically in shape men battle against each other for the win. Most men are physically attracted to these men playing sports, though you will never get one to tell you the truth. Men are more fascinated with body shape than girls are. Most heterosexual men are ok with women looking like men because they actually find the male body attractive.
When you think about it, pornographic videos are not made for women; I haven’t met one yet that would disagree with me. There is a thing called a money shot in the pornographic industry, most men I know that is there one of their favorite parts. When I tell them they like it because they are attracted to the male organ, and that it is normal to envy the male body having attraction to it, they all deny it. What I am getting at is most heterosexual men find the male body attractive so this doesn’t help the problem.
Another reason a lot of women feel fat is gross and ugly is because it is not a sign of strength. Muscles are proof that you worked hard to earn your body of choice. Large fat breasts or a big curvy butt is not something you have to work for. It’s just something some girls are blessed with. So naturally the thinner women who have no curves are going to work out changing their body to a more acceptable standard set by homosexual fashion industry. Doing this trying to make up for something they don’t have. In the end they feel they are better looking than the natural big breasted curvy girl.
Through out the history of the world big women have always been what society has considered beautiful. I’m not talking about obese women; I’m talking about natural child bearing women. I’m not saying big women are better, or anything like that. I personally like a girl with little pouch on her belly, I also like fat around the waist and on the legs. I personally prefer short girls, that don’t work out. I have found that Mexican girls are the most beautiful to me. I’m not talking about Latino Americans, I’m sorry they don’t cut it. They too have been tainted by American culture. I personally think Mexico produces some of the most beautiful girls in the world. South America does too, but Mexican girls have something special about them. Lucky enough for me I married a real Mexican girl.
My wife once explained to me why female Mexican actors and rock stars are so much hotter than the American ones. That’s because they eat food, real food, they are not constantly on a diet, they have cute little bellies and fuller curves. Just look at Shakira or Paulina Rubio in the eighties and you would see their stomachs aren’t ripped like a man’s. Paulina Rubio unfortunately was ruined with the American way of thinking just recently.
I believe eventually over time we will all look back, if not us maybe our grandkids and laugh at how stupid the women of this time period looked. Last don’t you think Barbie is a better role model than a catwalk fashion models. Barbie at least smiles and doesn’t sulk and smoke.

I like curvy women like most men, but my girlfriend is very thin. Virtually no hips. She doesnt starve herself to be that way. Its genetic and I know she wishes she was curvier. Many people here are arguing for the opposite extreme, skinny women are unattractive. Really skinny women want to be curvier and curvy women want to be skinner. Why does everyone want to be something else? MEDIA! All women are beautiful in their own way.

well i have to say i think it has to do with your preference thats all if you like curvy girls than go out and get one but if you like skinny girls go for it also im a woman who is curvy but i look at Jlo, beyonce or trina and want to be as curvy as them but than i know i have a nice body myself because majority of men wants a curvaceous woman.

Hey. I am 5'8" 37b/c 26.5 37. my boyfriend thinkis i am overweight(thighs, stomach, arms). i recently lost 15 pounds and i felt great about myself. i felt like a woman because i hate those skinny little skeletons you see on tv and in magazines. my boyfriend used to joke with me about how (most of them) they threw up and didnt eat and looked like boys with fake boobs. it turns out he really likes them. he believes i am overweight. He said he is only with me because I was in his league and he couldnt get those girls. He is really lanky and my arms are the same size as his, so I think it has a little to do with the fact tha he doesnt feel manly with me. He even knows what I am going through to lose more weight(slad and cantelope only), and he doesnt care. hed rather have the supermodel/hollywood. Not that they arent beautiful, but its all sort of comic. Its not real and isnt/should meant to be real. Any single guys out there who prefer cuvres in the Dalton GA area?

Not all skinny women have an eating disorder. I guess as you said some women are "blessed" with curves, some girls are just "blessed" with being skinny aswell. My girlfriend is a small girl, but she can out eat me. There is a such thing as having high metabolism and being skinny genetically. She does not in any way "look like a boy". I find her small breasts and hips some of the most beautiful things i've ever seen.

not trying to have a go but, sounds like you might be fashion industry material. if the tables were turned you would probably have the similar attitude of the pompas curvy women out there. i think this attitude has developed because of the obbsesion with the 6ft skinny models. thats my thought. also i'm tall 5.8" and big, all body types are fine, because as we know if your crap on the inside, no matter what you do you'll look crap on the out .

my my my, rob i'm with shane on this one, these girls/women are very very sick and dying. so what is it skeletons you like? well instead of looking for a partner with anorexia, and incourage her to eventuly kill herself you should perhaps ask your local medical center if you can have one of their plastic skeletons on a pole.

I don't know, I find that women that are 36-24-36 are treacherous or treacherous to me mainly because it's hard for me to keep my eyes off of them. I mean they are the most misleading of all the women because of their beautiful shapes and femininity. Just watch them step into a room and notice how they'll gain instant dominion over any guy who knows beauty. Moreover how about the women that notice their curvature, automatically they would wish they had the same. I feel that a women who possess a figure like the one mentioned has to much confidence why? because people mainly men fall at her knees upon request or at the sight of her. To prove my point,
Compare a average looking man with a average shaped women to a average looking man with a really curvy women, I mean 362436. If you were a man just watching them you would think that the guy mentioned last is well off, has lots of money and would think of a few other good thing to say about him. Moreover curvy women to me attract way to much attention in the sexual sense, meaning that when men see them they can't help but imagine what she'll look like naked. Also the thing is, women with those shapes know they look good so they flaunt it. Lastly just to make my point clear. If you ever visited a strip bar you aint never seen a women up there that didn't own dangerous curves and thats the thing women who have them know how they can get over on whoever just by wearing apparel that eccentuate them. So therefore I leave those who are to curvy for me where they be.

Well this is umm... strange because I like smaller women. I like tiny women. But I do not like men. If I look at a guy I can not find them attractive. I mean I dont mind big curvy women but I really like small asian women. Now if you say I like small women because I am in denial of liking guys that is crazy talk. I just dont understand what you where trying to sau there because it dose not make much sense.

For those of you who are naturally short and fat, congratulations, seriously. Remember that there are plenty of women in the world who can't help being tall and/or thin. Some of them wish they curvier and smaller, and some don't. What's "natural" is that a woman embrace her specific body type and acquire tolerance for others.

yayayay Mexican women. well i just typed in curvy women and much to my satisfaction i came across this entry. well i'm thoroughly disgusted by rob and his beatiful rib-cages, i won't discuss that though. You see i find it this way because yes of course i am mexican, a woman well im only 18, but i suffered and still do by having curves throughout my body. I mean i have a big butt, big wide hips i mean all my jeans are loose from my waist but perfectly fitting on my hips, it's horrible. Well, returning to my feeling of disgust, it was very difficult growing up in this society and having the body that i do. You talk about models today and the fascination with the body of 13 year old underdeveloped girls. At 13 my hips were well on their way, much bigger than any model's, and my breasts were already a nice size B, at 13. Now their a full blown C borderline D's, but at 13 it was very difficlult for me. Now it's better, but i mean before my neighborhood was full of mexicans at least i could see girls like me, but i recently started school at UC Berkeley and it's all asian girls with little tiny petit bodies, and white girls with bony so called "hips" (i feel ya Kami). It is society and unfortunately people like Rob (of course it is his opinion) but nonetheless when all of society feels this way, it makes it hard for girls like me, growing up in this society to adapt and become self-assured and confident members of society. Oh yeah and it traumatizing.

I am a curvy asian which is basically unheard of. I have big breasts & curvy hips, (but never heavy) & my ex-boyfriend keeps on telling me that I'm fat. Honestly, I always thought I'm beautiful & sexy. The problem in our society today is that thin is always equated with sexy, beautiful, & trendy. Looking at fashion shows for at least 10 seconds can make any normal weight curvy girl instantly aware of her excess surface area. I agree with the theory about gay men ruling fashion, & it is a disappointment for us women to allow their point of view to ruin our healthy body image. They like skinny girls because: 1. They basically resemble walking hangers which is good when modelling clothes, because they think curves & breasts will mess with the overall shape of the dress & 2. They can relate with skinny girls because they have the same body type. For me, curvy girls look amazing & romantic, very womanly, & thus, powerful.
Finally, Men definitely like curvy women because they like making love with women & not, well, boys.

I'd have to say I agree with the opening article. I, myself, being a curvy girl. I'm 5'4" and 34d 28 39. I'm also bisexual and I'd have to agree that curvy women are the most beautiful. At times I do wish to be skinnier but then I look at myself in the mirror again and think "Why should I change, I look like a women" Naturally men are attracted to women with curves especially ones with wider hips. This is completely biological. Women with wider hips are better child barers. Smaller hips tend to cause more birth problems for the mother as well as the child. Instinct drives men to look for the best mate to bare their children, making wider hipped women the better catch.
I have to agree to some extent that everyone is somewhat attracted to the same sex. In society today its wrong for a man to have any hint of homosexuality, but of course it's sexy and cool for two women. Homosexuality is homosexuality no matter who is doing it. As for gay men running the fashion industry I can understand that theory, although why is it today that America is where it is most sought out to be thin. Is it because our country is the fattest and we are told fat is unhealthy so people go to extremes to be overly thin?
Now I know their are exceptions to everything, but when a man says he likes a skinny girl and prefers that over a slim yet curvier girl I don't believe him. Through out history women are shown as meaty but healthy. Muscles and zero body fat are healthy either. If you get into nutrition yes you are told to eat healthy and exercise but also told to eat fats...sparingly, the fact remains you still need fat.
Women's bodies are made primarily of fatty tissues rather then muscle tissue. This allows women to be more flexible, which helps in many ways. Taking away fat from a women's body (not including the whole obesity side of things) is taking away the whole part of being a women. If you are into children then, hey thats your thing, but children are frail and small, women are full and voluptuous. Their is scientific fact to back it up.
I'm not saying as a human you must be attracted to curvy women, but your instinct does tell you the best way to live, reproduce, provide, protect, and support you and your family as an animal, and as I said before that is a man's general instincts toward reproduction.
I'm sure many people will disagree with me and many others will agree. My point is nature says curvy, society says bean pole. Whether either is correct the healthiest species will live (survival of the fittest). So many in the future we will evolve back to our more natural figures, but who knows. In the end we will all choose our mates and life will move on.

I agree with you that it is an attraction to young girls that have that underdeveloped frail body. I think women know this and not really understanding human nature they deceive themselves of what is really important to nature. Is it men to blame? I don’t know, but men have been the dominating force through out time. Maybe its more of a cultural thing, in some cultures and especially in the past girls were married at the age of ten and in recent years in countries like India 13. In Utah the legal age of marriage is fifteen.
I am one of those guys that have always been caught in the middle liking both skinny and curvy girls. In one way I want a petite little girl that I would feel dominate with. But at the same time I seem to be so insecure, or maybe it’s just I’m so childlike that I need a real woman to take care of me like a mother would take care of her baby. I find myself most of the time in this state where I like to be taken care of. Just ask my wife she will tell you that I’m her little baby. Even though I deign it constantly.
I still feel the fashion industry and media destroyed the image of what a real girl should look like. I’m sure this is just a phase and in time we will realize just how stupid we were. I mean does anyone think that Arnold schwarzenegger’s wife, Maria Shriver, looks attractive? She looks like a drug addict that hasn’t eaten or slept for years. She used to be so pretty what happened?

hi, i just came across this entry when i typed in a search in google for "curvy girls".
im a girl who's curvy, but in the genuine sense of the word "curvy"; meaning that i have CURVES, my body curves, i am not fat or skinny (some skinny girls call themseves curvy these days cus their hipbones stick out or something, i have no idea).
i find it incredibly hard these days to find anyone who's body resembles mine. and if i do find anyone like me, they don't like their bodies and want to look skinny and anorexic.
i dont care what anyone says, i think the skinny anorexic look is disgusting and sick. i wanted to tell you however that i agree with your theory about it being homosexual attraction in some cases but in other cases i think there are other causes of men thinking this sort of body is attractive.
one of them, i think, is possibly a pedophile mindset in society. the most popular women in society are innocent and girlish, "lolita" is a popular film/book, lots of porn stars these days are flat chested with flat butts (and they wear their hair in little ponytails with pink lip gloss). so naturally, girls who never eat and have rain thin bodies, look like an underdeveloped 13 year old.
another thing i think it is, is just self-loathing on the girls' part. they have a distorted view of life for whatever reason and they think emaciation is beautiful.
its shocking how similar it is to someone like a serial killer who might think its beautiful to murder someone.

I therefore don't deny that I'm mostly attracted to women who have a body like a young boy. But I'm not sexually attracted to boys/men, and am not in denial. (Of course it's impossible to say "I'm not in denial", but that's just a catch-22.)
I think it's more to do with misogyny. Experience has damaged my opinion of the female character. Hips are markers of womanhood, and my obsession with skinny women has grown more and more with these experiences. But this doesn't affect the fact that I am, as I've always been, heterosexual on a physical, bestial level.
Women are the most fascinatingly, amazingly beautiful things in the world. I'm entirely obsessed with the idea of having sex with them, and, I have to say, entirely repelled by the idea of homosexuality. Believe me, I've thought over this obsession a lot, and maintain that the differentiation I made in my opening paragraph is crucial and, as such, worthy of acknowledgement here.
