The crying nights I spend alone,
Trying to convince myself things will change.
Foolishly I believe there’s something better.
Nothing can compare to growing up together as children.
Nine years, three kids, and the memories.
I just can let go of that.
If I did it would just mean I never loved you.
The promise I made, the promise I’ll never break.
The promise to always be there for you.
Through the good and through the bad.
I will never break that promise.
I will always hold a place for you in my heart.
