I find myself at night,
wishing you were here next to me.
Your brunette hair between my fingers,
gently stroking the side of your delicate face.
I could only imagine,
your lips pressed up against mine,
with your hand in mine.
We could dance the night away.
I could only imagine,
the warmth of your body next to mine,
with your arms wrapped around me so tight.
I just wish you could be here next to me,
I’d fall at your feet, just to kiss your hand.
The temptation to look deep into those mystical eyes of yours,
would be to strong, to take that chance.
For if I did, I know I would,
fall in love with you.
I could only imagine,
hearing those special words, spoken so softly,
as we held each other throughout the night.
I could only imagine,
nibbling on those cute little ears of yours,
whispering those special words,
So calmly in your ear.
