Together we cry
I just got the baby asleep.
She’s been crying all night.
In tears I sang the song we used to sing to her.
We miss you so much, more than you could know.
The tears in her eyes,
when she mumbles the words "momma."
Every time it kills me inside.
My heart feels all tight,
I get a lump in my throat.
The tears just start pouring down.
Together we cry wishing you would come home.
So we can be a family again.
